Previously the head coach at St. Lucie West Centennial High School, Garcia is no stranger to the local sports scene. Beyond his coaching credentials, Garcia boasts an impressive career background, having served as a police officer with the Port St. Lucie Police Department for twenty-four years. His roles included Honor Guard, Field Training Officer, Detective, school resource officer, and department recruiter, reflecting his dedication to public service and community involvement.
Garcia's own journey in baseball includes a stint as a professional player, reaching as high as AAA level in organizations such as the Mets, Yankees, and Indians. This firsthand experience at the professional level provides him with unique insights into the sport, which he now aims to impart to his players at Treasure Coast High School.
